About Us
Arundel Bowling Club is primarily an outdoor lawn bowls club, competing in both ladies and men’s leagues as well as arranging mixed friendly matches against other clubs. We also have regular roll-up sessions and internal competitions for club members. During the winter months, we play short mat bowls indoors at the clubhouse and similarly play in local leagues, arrange friendly matches and have regular roll-up sessions together with internal club competitions.
We are a friendly mixed club who welcome all new players to membership, whether brand new to any form of bowls or with experience of lawn bowls, indoor or short mat bowls. In addition to bowling, we also have an active social club.
The club is affiliated to Sussex County Bowls and follows the rules and regulations set out by Bowls England, who are our governing body. We have active Health and Safety & Safeguarding Officers and are careful to strictly adhere to all of the guidelines set out by Bowls England and the Government relating to Covid-19 . Many initiatives have been put in place to protect the wellbeing of our members and any visitors to our club.
We are always keen to welcome new members, so if you are interested in joining our club and would like more details or to download a membership application form, please visit our 'Join Our Club' page. We would love to hear from you.
